Thermage Korea: questions before you book

Do I need to fast or be sedated?

No. WELLS does not use deep sedation for Thermage. Non-sedation Air NOX with local anesthetic keeps you awake, no fasting is needed, and you can drive afterwards.

Is 600 or 900 shots right for me?

The dermatologist decides at consultation based on the area to be treated. Both options use genuine Thermage FLX tips, guaranteed at ten times the price if ever found not genuine.

Is Collagen MAX a different machine from regular Thermage?

No. It uses the same 4th-generation Thermage FLX. The difference is the added microbiome test, the AQ MAX infusion and the collagen booster serum.

What is AQ MAX, and is it proven?

AQ MAX is an amino-acid (alanyl-glutamine) infusion given before treatment. In WELLS cell-culture tests it helped heated skin cells survive and reduced the heat-related drop in collagen. These are laboratory results, not results in people; your dermatologist will explain whether it suits you.

Does Thermage hurt?

Thermage creates a hot, stinging feeling. WELLS uses numbing cream, local anesthesia and the collagen booster serum to ease it. Air NOX is also available, and you stay awake the whole time.

What does the microbiome test tell me?

Your skin’s oil and moisture levels, plus microbial diversity, barrier health and inflammation tendency. Comparing before and after treatment, and again a year later, shows how your skin is changing.

When will I see results?

Changes typically begin to show about two weeks after treatment. Results vary from person to person.
