Pigmentation & Melasma

Pigmented Birthmarks

Café-au-lait spots, nevus of Ota and other birthmarks treated with low-power picosecond laser.

Treatment room with laser device, WELLS Clinic

Congenital pigment is treated slowly: repeated high-heat treatment can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation, so WELLS uses low-fluence picosecond pulses that remove abnormal pigment selectively.

We pick the wavelength by the type and depth of pigment, so lesions from the epidermis to the mid-dermis can be treated. Diagnosis and treatment by dermatologists treating pigment since 2008.
