How much does Thermage cost at WELLS in Seoul?

If you are searching for the Thermage cost in Seoul, you probably already know roughly what the treatment does. What you want is a real number, and some reassurance that the number you are quoted is the number you will pay. That is a fair thing to ask before you book a flight.

What changes the Thermage cost: shots, protocol and areas

Three things move the number: how many shots you need, which Thermage protocol you choose, and which areas are treated. Each one is decided by looking at your face, not by picking from a menu.

600 or 900 shots

The shot count is decided at consultation, based on the area to be treated. Both options use genuine Thermage FLX tips. Even with the same number of shots, energy has to be placed differently depending on face shape, fat thickness and how lax the skin is, so I would be wary of anyone who sets your shot count without examining you.

Before lifting treatments we analyze the face with a 3D imaging system. It shows facial structure, fat thickness and left-right asymmetry, which is how I decide where the energy should go and how many shots that takes.

Thermage FLX cost with the Collagen Booster protocol

We also offer Collagen Booster Thermage FLX: fourth-generation Thermage FLX with a collagen booster serum applied during treatment. Its price is confirmed at your consultation, so I cannot give you a figure here, and I would rather not guess.

The difference from Thermage MAX is what happens around the RF itself. Thermage MAX adds the skin microbiome test and the AQ MAX infusion before treatment, and that is what the listed price covers.

Eyes and upper face

Thermage uses finer tips on thin areas such as around the eyes, and on our listed menu Eye Thermage is part of a program. Our 3X Upper Face Lifting combines Eye Thermage (450 shots), EMFACE (2 passes) and Eye Ultherapy (50 shots) in one session for ₩2,500,000 (VAT excluded).

What is included in the Thermage MAX price?

When people compare Thermage cost between clinics, they often compare a shot number and nothing else. At WELLS, the listed Thermage MAX price covers the whole protocol, not just the handpiece time.

• A consultation and treatment plan by a board-certified dermatologist
• A skin microbiome test before treatment, which you can repeat when you return a year later to compare changes
• Two bottles of AQ MAX (alanyl-glutamine) infused before the RF, to help collagen-producing cells cope with the heat
• A collagen-peptide serum applied during treatment, which also reduces the sting
• Genuine Thermage FLX tips, with a ten-times refund of the treatment price if a tip is ever found not to be genuine
• Non-sedation Air NOX with local anesthetic, so there is no fasting and you can drive afterwards

Because you stay awake, you can see the tip being opened and check the shot count yourself. After treatment you receive a certificate with an official authentication number and a QR code, so the tip can be verified independently.

Ulthera vs Thermage: how the cost works if you combine them

Many people who ask about Thermage cost in Korea are also weighing Ultherapy. The two are not substitutes. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound on the deeper SMAS layer, while Thermage uses RF to tighten the dermis, closer to the surface.

So the honest Ulthera vs Thermage answer depends on where your laxity is. A jawline that has genuinely dropped usually points toward ultrasound; crepey, less firm skin points toward RF. Some faces need both, and then you are paying for two treatments, each priced on its own.

Thermage side effects, and why a cheaper quote can cost more

Side effects are possible with any energy device, which is why every treatment here starts with a dermatologist consultation. After Thermage, mild heat or swelling can appear and usually settles within a few days.

The bad Thermage side effects people read about online often come back to the tip. A refurbished or non-genuine tip can deliver energy unevenly, which risks burns or simply no effect at all. A low price built on the wrong tip is not a saving.

Whichever clinic you choose in Seoul or at home, these are the questions I would ask before paying:

• Is the price for genuine tips, and can I see the tip opened?
• Who decides my shot count, and does a dermatologist perform the treatment?
• Will I be sedated, or awake enough to give feedback on the heat?
• Is the price quoted with or without VAT?

Planning Thermage in Seoul around your trip

Thermage fits into a short trip more easily than most people expect. There is no incision and no deep sedation, you need no fasting, and with Air NOX you recover within about two minutes and can drive afterwards.

What a short trip cannot give you is the full result. With Collagen Booster Thermage FLX, results may begin to appear after about two weeks and last six to fourteen months, so most of the change happens after you are home.
