What does Eye Thermage actually do around the eyes?
Thermage uses monopolar radiofrequency to heat the dermis and stimulate collagen remodeling. Around the eyes, the RF tightens the thin skin of the eyelids and the area around the eyes, using fine tips suited to thin, curved areas.
Results are not instant in the way surgery is. On our Collagen Booster Thermage FLX page, results may begin to appear after about two weeks and last six to fourteen months. Individual results vary.
In general, eye-area laxity involves more than skin. A drooping brow involves skin, muscle and deeper tissue, so treating the skin alone can leave the other layers behind. That is why, at WELLS, Eye Thermage sits inside a three-part program.

Many people researching an eye lift in Korea also come across the fox eye lift, eye bag removal and hooded eye surgery. Those are procedures that change eye shape or remove tissue, and they belong to a different category from Eye Thermage. Eyelid surgery is not among the treatments we offer at WELLS. I would rather tell you that plainly than stretch a skin treatment to fit a surgical problem.
- Heavy excess lid skin folding over the lashes: a surgical consultation is usually the right first step
- Under-eye bags from fat pushing forward: RF tightening does not remove fat, so eye bag removal is a surgical question
- A fox eye shape: that is a change of shape, not a tightening, and it is not what Eye Thermage does
- Thin, crepey, slightly loose skin with a lower brow: this is where Eye Thermage and the 3X program make sense

Is Eye Thermage safe, and how do I know the tips are genuine?
Thermage delivers energy through a single-use tip. Refurbished or reused tips can deliver energy unevenly, risking burns or no effect at all. At WELLS, only genuine tips are used, and if a tip is ever found not to be genuine, WELLS refunds ten times the treatment price.
Because we do not use deep sedation, you stay awake and can see the tip and the shot count yourself. We use Air NOX, a controlled oxygen and nitrous-oxide mix, with local anesthetic. You need no fasting, recover within about two minutes and can drive afterwards.
Air NOX is not suitable in early pregnancy, with respiratory conditions, panic disorder or vitamin B12 deficiency, so mention any of these in advance. A mild heat sensation or swelling can appear right after treatment and generally settles within a few days.
