Rejuran results: what to expect over a course, and what shapes them

What do Rejuran results actually look like?

If you're searching for Rejuran results, you probably want to know one thing: will it visibly change my skin, or will I spend money on bumps that fade in two days? It's a fair worry. Rejuran results are real, but they're quieter and slower than a filler or a lifting device, and they depend heavily on how the treatment is planned.

In this post I'll explain what a Rejuran treatment is designed to change, what makes the result stronger or weaker, and how I judge whether a course has worked.

Rejuran is a polynucleotide (PN) skin booster, not a volumiser or a lift. PN is designed to improve the skin's internal environment. It supports elasticity in the epidermis and dermis, smoother fine lines and texture, and better hydration.

• Hydration: less of that tight, dry-inside feeling, and makeup that sits rather than flakes
• Texture: a smoother, more even surface
• Fine lines: softer, shallow lines, especially where skin is thin
• Elasticity: skin that feels firmer and more resilient to the touch

What it won't do is fill a hollow, lift a jowl or relax a deep expression line. If one of those is your main concern, it's better to hear that before your first session than after your fourth.

Why we don't show Rejuran before and after galleries

We don't publish Rejuran before and after galleries, and I won't describe other people's faces as proof of anything. Skin quality changes are hard to judge fairly on a screen, where lighting and angle can matter more than the treatment. What I can give you instead is an honest opinion on your own skin. Send us a clear photo in daylight and tell us your main concern. A dermatologist will tell you whether Rejuran is likely to help, or whether something else fits better.

How many Rejuran sessions do you need to see results?

Rejuran is a course, not a one-off. For Rejuran HB+, the formula we inject at WELLS, we recommend four sessions at 2–3 week intervals. Regeneration generally builds gradually, and a single session is only the first step of that.

What you notice first, and what comes later

Right after the injection you'll see small raised bumps, called embo. They're not the result. They show that the product has been placed in the dermis, where it has to be to work.

Embo marks usually settle within 2–3 days. Depending on skin thickness and how quickly your skin absorbs the product, they can go in a day or last about five days. Both are normal, and fast fading doesn't mean the product has gone.

Because HB+ contains hyaluronic acid, hydration is often the first change people describe. Texture and fine lines are the slower, structural part. That's why we repeat and space the sessions instead of judging the result after one visit.

What decides how good your Rejuran results are?

When someone tells me Rejuran did nothing for them, the reason is usually in the planning, not the product. Three things matter most: the dose for the area, the depth of injection, and whether the course was finished.

Dose for the area

Too little product spread over too much face makes it hard to see Rejuran's glow and regeneration. As a general guide, the eye area and front cheeks need at least 2cc. Adding the forehead takes it to at least 3cc, and a thorough full face needs about 4cc.

Depth and technique

The regenerative and hydrating effect depends on placing the product accurately in the dermis. I prefer manual injection by hand over a faster injector gun, even though it takes longer. Thin or sensitive skin needs even more precise technique.

Rejuran healer or HB+: does the formula change the result?

Both contain the same salmon-derived polynucleotide, so the regenerative core is the same. The original Rejuran healer focuses on regeneration. HB+ adds hyaluronic acid for hydration and lidocaine for comfort.

Comfort affects results more than people expect. Lidocaine in the HB+ formula cut post-injection pain by an average of 53% on the VAS scale compared with Rejuran Healer. The price of a Rejuran HB+ course on its own is confirmed at consultation, once the dermatologist has decided the dose and number of sessions for your skin.

Can you get more from a Rejuran treatment? Rejuran Tox

Rejuran on its own works on hydration and regeneration underneath. What it may not give you quickly is visible pore tightening. For that, we combine it with skin botox: botulinum toxin diluted and injected shallowly into the skin rather than the muscle.

In our Rejuran Tox protocol, Rejuran HB+ (3 cc) works on regeneration, moisture and elasticity. Skin botox (3 cc) smooths fine lines, refines pores and reduces excess oiliness, and both are done in the same visit.

Skin botox is dosed differently from wrinkle botox in the muscle. Our standard botulinum toxin treatment uses only US FDA-approved type A toxin, with genuine product and quantity guaranteed.

Rejuran results by age, and when Rejuran is not enough

Rejuran suits a wide range of ages, from the twenties to the seventies, because almost everyone benefits from better hydration and skin quality. What changes with age is what Rejuran should be paired with.

• 30s: Rejuran alone, repeated regularly, is often a reasonable plan when lines are mild
• 40s–50s: Rejuran Tox usually makes more sense, adding skin botox for pores and fine lines
• 50s–60s and beyond: skin quality treatments alone have limits, and I'd consider combining them with a lifting treatment such as Thermage, Ultherapy or Sculptra

In that last group, sagging is a different problem from skin quality. A skin booster can make lax skin look healthier, but it doesn't reposition tissue. For firmness on the cheeks, jawline and neck, we'd talk about something like Thermage MAX alongside Rejuran.
