Revole filler cost Korea comes down to syringes, areas and old filler

In Seoul, the cost of an HA filler such as Revolax depends mostly on how many syringes your areas need, how firm the gel has to be, and whether older filler has to be dealt with first.

What “Revole” filler is, and what the cost covers

Worried that the “revole filler cost Korea” figure you saw online won't match what actually goes into your face, or what you end up paying? Read this before you build syringes into your trip budget.

By the end you'll know what decides the cost, which areas take more product, when more filler is the wrong thing to buy, and how many days to plan in Seoul.

I'm Dr. Won Woo Choi, Medical Director at WELLS Clinic in Apgujeong, where board-certified dermatologists do the consultation and the treatment themselves. I wrote this because most people compare the price of a single syringe, and that's rarely what decides the total.

Revole is how many people search for Revolax, a Korean hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. In Seoul, what you pay depends mostly on how many syringes your areas need, how firm the gel has to be for each area, and whether filler already in your face has to be dealt with first.

Send a clear photo and your travel dates, and we will tell you what fits the time you have in Seoul.

Send your photos and the areas you want on WhatsApp

If you've had filler before, send front and side photos taken in daylight on WhatsApp, along with the product name and the date of your last injection if you know them. Then ask one question: roughly how many syringes would my areas need? Older filler changes what makes sense to add, so those two details make the answer about your face, not a menu.

Revolax is a hyaluronic acid gel made in Korea and sold in versions of different firmness, from softer gels for fine lines to firmer ones for deeper contouring. Your skin already makes HA. As a filler, it's cross-linked so it lasts months instead of days, and an enzyme called hyaluronidase can break it down if something needs reversing. The US Food and Drug Administration describes most dermal fillers as temporary because the body absorbs them over time.

I won't name the product I'd use on your face before I've examined it. For filler at WELLS, we confirm the product and the amount before treatment, so you know both before anything is injected. If you want Revolax specifically, ask about it by name in your first message.

The gel is only part of what you pay for. The rest is the judgment about where it goes and how much your face can carry. That's why I care more about the plan than the label on the syringe.

Revole filler cost Korea: what decides it for your face

Two people can type “revole filler cost Korea” into the same search bar and get very different totals in Seoul. These are the factors that create the gap:

  • The number of syringes. This is the biggest factor. Lips alone usually need little product. Cheeks, temples and chin together need several times more.
  • The areas and how firm the gel must be. Lips and fine lines need a softer gel, while chin and cheek support need a firmer one. For nasolabial folds, we use a large-particle, long-lasting filler.
  • Filler that's already there. Lumps, product that has moved, or an overfilled area can mean dissolving first and waiting before adding more. That's a separate step, and sometimes a separate trip.
  • What you combine it with. Pairing filler with anti-wrinkle injection can make the result last longer, but it's a second treatment with its own cost.
  • Your days in Seoul. If a small adjustment after the swelling settles makes sense, you'll need a second appointment before your flight.

Anesthesia rarely changes the total. Filler doesn't need sleep sedation, and we don't use sleep sedation that isn't needed. Many HA fillers also contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic that numbs the area as the gel goes in.

It works much like what changes laser toning cost in Korea: the listed unit matters less than how many units your skin needs. Photos help us suggest options and timing, but the plan and price are confirmed only after the dermatologist examines you in Seoul. To get a figure for your own case, ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for the specific areas you want, with photos attached.

Which areas take more product?

The related questions people search for, like temples, nose, cheeks and lips, all ask for different amounts. Here is how I think about each one.

AreaWhat moves the amountWhere I'd hold back
LipsStarting volume, symmetry, earlier fillerFirm lumps from a previous treatment
TemplesDepth of the hollow, thin skin over itExpecting it to lift heavy upper lids
CheeksBone support, how far the midface has droppedExpecting it to fix jowls caused by loose skin
NoseHow much height the bridge needsIt's a higher-risk area for injecting into a vessel
Under-eyeHollow depth, thin skinPuffiness from fat bags, which filler worsens

Forehead filler is a good example of why “more” isn't the goal. We balance forehead volume so the face doesn't look larger, and what forehead filler can and can't reshape comes down to proportion more than amount. Under the eyes, the skin is thin enough that a small amount is often the right amount, which who under-eye filler suits explains in detail.

Cheek filler to lift jowls and temple filler to lift eyes both get searched a lot. Filler can give the midface some support. When the sag comes from loose skin, though, adding volume adds weight, and the lower face can look heavier.

When I'd tell you not to add more filler

In short, this is the part of the cost conversation people don't expect. Sometimes the right amount of filler for this trip is less than you planned, or none at all.

I'd hold off when there's a firm bump or nodule from earlier filler that hasn't been diagnosed. Lumps that look the same can have different causes, such as leftover gel, inflammation, or a reaction to the product. Each one is handled differently, so the diagnosis decides the treatment. Work done by non-specialists sometimes leaves marks that take longer to resolve, so a dermatologist should look at it before anyone adds more.

I'd also hold off when a face is already starting to look overfilled. Why faces end up looking overfilled usually comes down to layering product over product, year after year.

Say you had lip filler about two years ago at home, you can feel a small firm bump in the upper lip, and you want a lip top-up plus cheek filler on a five-day trip. I'd want to know what that bump is before putting anything near it. If it turns out to be leftover HA, dissolving it and letting the lip settle usually works better than layering new filler on top. That might mean cheeks on this trip and lips on the next, so this trip costs less even though the plan covers two visits.

Send a clear photo and your travel dates, and we will tell you what fits the time you have in Seoul.

Send your photos and the areas you want on WhatsApp

If a lump or an earlier treatment is behind your question, add a close-up photo of it to your WhatsApp message, plus the product, amount and date of each previous filler you've had. Ask whether it makes sense to add filler on top or to deal with what's already there first.

How many days should you plan in Seoul?

The injection itself is short. The days around it are what need planning. When filler and anti-wrinkle injection are done across several facial areas, bruising and swelling can take 7 to 14 days to settle. Lips often swell the most during the first couple of days.

WELLS is open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00, with lunch from 13:00 to 14:00. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays. If you land on a Saturday evening, Monday is your first possible appointment. The clinic is on the 8th floor of the Apgujeong B/D at 842 Nonhyeon-ro, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Apgujeong Station on Line 3.

Book filler early in your trip, not the day before you fly home. That way the swelling peaks while you're still in Seoul. If a small adjustment is needed, you have time for a second visit, and you won't be wondering about a new bump at 35,000 feet.

Risks and side effects to know

The common reactions are temporary: swelling, bruising, tenderness and small bumps you can feel in the first days. They usually settle within one to two weeks. The rare serious risk is filler entering or pressing on a blood vessel and blocking blood flow. The FDA warns that this can damage skin and, very rarely, affect vision. We inject with a cannula where possible because it lowers the vessel-damage risk of a standard needle, though no technique removes that risk entirely.

In general, it's wiser to wait or skip filler if you have:

  • an infection, a cold sore or inflamed skin where you'd be injected
  • a recent laser treatment or peel in the same area
  • a pregnancy, or you're breastfeeding
  • an allergy to lidocaine or to a filler ingredient, or a history of severe allergic reactions

If a reaction appears after you've flown home, how fast you act matters more than who you contact. Skin that turns pale, dusky or blotchy, severe pain, or any change in your vision needs emergency care right away. Don't wait for a message reply. Lumps that show up weeks later should be seen by a dermatologist at home. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends having fillers done by a board-certified dermatologist. The CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests bringing your treatment records home, so write down the product name and amount you were told before treatment.

How you heal is personal. Bruising, swelling and how long the filler lasts all vary from person to person, and whether filler suits you is decided at the in-person exam.

Why WELLS for this decision

WELLS has been in Apgujeong since 2008, and it's our only location. Our dermatologists have more than fifteen years of filler experience. We use a cannula where possible, and we confirm the product and amount before treatment. Those last two points matter most when you're paying by the syringe.

Questions people ask

Before you message us

Do you use Revolax at WELLS?

I don't name the product I'd use before examining your face, because the right gel depends on the area and how deep it goes. We confirm the product and amount before treatment. If you want Revolax specifically, ask about it by name on WhatsApp.

Why can't you give a revole filler cost Korea figure online?

The total depends on how many syringes your areas need, what's already in your face, and whether you add other treatments, and none of that shows up in a search result. The plan and price are confirmed only after the dermatologist examines you in Seoul.

Does filler hurt?

Most people feel pressure and a brief sting. Many HA fillers contain lidocaine, which numbs the area as the gel goes in. Filler doesn't need sleep sedation.

How long does hyaluronic acid filler last?

Usually months to a year or more, depending on the product, the area and how much your face moves there. Lips tend to wear off faster than deeper areas like the chin.

Can old filler be dissolved before adding new filler?

Hyaluronic acid filler can be broken down by a doctor using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Whether that's the right step depends on what the lump actually is, which needs an exam.

Results and recovery vary by individual. Every treatment carries possible side effects, which are explained at the consultation. Prices are in Korean won, excluding 10% VAT, and confirmed at your consultation. This article is general information from the clinic, not a diagnosis.
