Muscle-relaxing injection is injected deep into the muscle to relax it, for expression lines or to slim an enlarged muscle such as the masseter. Korean skin smoothing injection is the same neuromodulator, diluted and injected shallowly and densely into the dermis instead.
Because skin smoothing injection sits in the skin rather than the muscle, it doesn't affect normal expression. It smooths fine lines, tightens pores and helps with oiliness, and it is the neuromodulator half of Rejuran Tox. Either the Korean-made or US-made options can be used for it; the technique is what makes it skin smoothing injection.
The mechanism explains why brand is secondary. Skin smoothing injection tightens pores by relaxing the tiny muscle attached to each hair follicle, and it can calm flushing by quieting the small nerves around blood vessels. Those effects come from where the neuromodulator is placed, whichever vial it came from.
